Mountain / Poem

I’m not calling you a liar

I just don’t understand the truth

I’m not saying you’re getting it wrong

I just can’t get this mountain to move.

I’m not saying you don’t care

But I can’t keep walking this way

I don’t think you’ve thought this through

You keep telling this mountain to stay.

As with any poem I write that has possible hints of a declining relationship, I feel the need to disclaim that my boyfriend and I aren’t breaking up. And if we were, I probably wouldn’t be posting about it online where everyone could read about it. *two thumbs up*
