The Harbour / Poem

My last Creative Friday post was two weeks ago, focusing on black out poetry. The poem below was another I made through black out poetry (if you’re not sure what that is, you can have a look at this link).


That conversation,

A passing delight,

Was perhaps the final one –

The last of our joy.

The end met us,

As we walked to the harbour,

At which we never again set sail.


(Also, no, I don’t know why this poem is so ominous, lol.)
