It’s time to get back into it.
In my mind, blogging is reaching a brick wall and wanting to get to the other side.
Most of the time I can climb over the top, scaling the heights easily, no resistance. Words build up and fall down and quite suddenly the brick wall is behind me. I click ‘publish’, hardly realising there was a wall to get past in the first place.
The past week hasn’t been this easy. Climbing the wall has proved unsuccessful.
And so I sit here and decide to punch the wall instead.
It can be like that, can’t it? You need to punch the wall before deciding perhaps that’s not the best method at getting past this. But punching the wall whittles down your options; in the least, you have something.
I now have something, and tomorrow I shall have more.
P.S. – a poem.
“It’s a dress well worn
Tea’s turned cold
I want this to be done
But my heart is sold”
